Lesson 9: The Bridge Gospel Presentation

7 min read

by Stephen Gibson

Introduction

Note to class leader: At the beginning of this session, students should report their experiences sharing the gospel with the method they learned in the previous lesson. Remember that students need to encourage one another. Each student that shared the gospel accomplished something important, even if the hearer did not make a positive response.

In preparation for this lesson, be sure to have a chalkboard, whiteboard, or large paper for demonstrating the diagram to the class.

“That which we have seen and heard we declare unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:3)"

What reason did the apostle give for sharing the gospel?

We have experienced what it means to encounter God and be saved, beginning a relationship with him. We also have a special relationship with others who are in relationship with God. When we share the gospel, we are inviting others to come into the fellowship that we have with God and others who know him.
